The easiest part of setting up my Wix account was creating my About Me page. The directions were easy to understand, straightforward, and simple. This part was also easy as I was able to write about who I was, what I was interested in, and the purpose of my ePortfolio. Another part that was easy was designing the page and choosing the template.

The most challenging part of setting up my Wix account was setting up the Resume page as I was confused on how to download my resume. I also struggled with fulfilling its requirements as I do not have much work experience (yet). I also had a difficult time in organizing my pages as I was not sure which order is correct and if I am choosing the right format/template. I was a little confused on what template would be best for an ePortfolio in this sense.

I am excited about creating my Wix page as it is a new experience for me and it will be helpful for me when I pursue my career in journalism in the future. However, as mentioned above I am nervous about my page not being organized enough or formatted correctly in a professional manner. I want to make my page presentable and eye-catching but I am not confident enough on doing these in a professional setting. I feel like I will need a lot of attention on making my page and its content presentable enough for future companies and jobs. However, I look forward to receiving feedback from my instructor on how to fix this in order to increase my confidence.

At the moment I do not have any questions for this stage of the ePortfolio project. Everything seems straightforward and simple so far. But, this does not excuse any future questions that I may have as I expand my ePortfolio further into the semester.
